Originally built as a grand, private residence in the eighteen hundreds, The Royal Golf Hotel Dornoch has been a revered golfing hotel since 1938. Purchased by the de Savary Family in 2006, the hotel is being subject to a complete restoration and expansion to provide sophisticated, well-designed guest services as at any earlier Peter de Savary club, resort and hotel around the world. These include The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle, The Abaco Club in the Bahamas, Port Louis Grenada, and Bovey Castle in England amongst many others.

The convivial nature of the local people is ever-present in the hotel's staff, with plenty of personality and experience to match.
